The gold laurel wreath with the silver sword, which was the
symbol on the cap of the Hungarian soldiers in 1848-49 (war of
independence), relates to the celebrity of the village, who was
an soldier of the Hungarian Army in 1848. The gold crucifix
relates to the Christian settlers of the village, The deer-head
with crown was the shield of a noble family of the village, and
in the rosette shield there is a picture of an old seal of the
village. Under the shield is the name of the village.
