Introduction

Some football club flags in Israel have the same pattern, a vertical triband in the team colours with logo and inscription. Sometimes the sponsor's name is also added.

said, "the 3:5 ratio is quite unusual in Israeli flags." All ratios of Israel non-official flags could change from day to day... I guess it depends on manufacturing reasons. The football flags that I saw are made in several ratios for each team. The one that I got is 90 × 150 cm so I drew them as 3:5.

Hapo'el means 'The Worker'. All those clubs used to belong to the Histadrut worker's union, hence their name. Now all of them are privately owned but keep their former name, usually with their sponsor's name added - like Hapo'el "Opel" Haifa, Hapoel "Keter" Tel-Aviv, etc.
