The city emblem was adopted on Mar 20th 2006 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue, a white and an orange four color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana つ Tsu of Tsubame in a form of refreshingly flying swallow. The green and the blue color stand for a nature and the orange color for a surge of the people and the industry. It represents an image of the city which evolves in accord with a  nature.
