The town emblem was adopted on Dec 25th 1962 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ユラ Yura. The circle stands for a concord and a peaceful development of the town people, the horizontal three bars for a solid cooperation of the town people and a surge of the town.
