The city emblem was adopted on Nov 1st 2004 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue, a red, a green three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized S of Setouchi. It represents an image of the city which has an interchange utilizing an abundant nature, a history and a creation.
