While searching for the heraldic emblems of Kure University in Kure City,
Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, I found the flag of Kure City, which I have been as
yet unable to find on FOTW. The flag is as follows:

The city emblem was adopted on Mar 26th 1903 but there is no flag law. The
blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is nine
katakana レ Re of kuRe in a form of a star and kanji 市 City in the center. It
represents an image of the city which is surrounded by nine peaks.
