The Flag

The flag of the town of Tonosho is green with mark.

The town embelm was adopted on Jan 1st 1963 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana との Tono of Tonosho. The circle symbolizes a reconciliation and a solidarity of the residents, the flying bird does a dramatic development of the industrial culture of the town.
