Makino Tadanari

1581-1654

Served under Tokugawa Ieyasu and attacked Ueda Castle in the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. He was awarded 60,000 goku in Echigo Province for his distinguished service in the Winter and Summer Campaigns in Osaka. The war banner has black background with a yellow ladder.

Matsudaira Nobuyoshi

1583-1603

A nephew of Tokugawa Ieyasu. After the Battle of Sekigahara, he was given 40,000 goku of Hitachi Province Tsuchiura, and after participating in two battles in Osaka, he was given 50,000 goku of Takasaki in Kouzuke Province. The war banner has black background with two white horizontal stripes topped with a black Maneki small streaming flag.

Matsudaira Tadanao

1595-1650

The eldest son of Tokugawa Hideyasu, he took the name of Matsudaira and succeeded to 750,000 goku of Kitanosho Castle in Echizen Province after raising the head of Sanada Yukimura in the Osaka Winter Campaign of 1614. The war banner has white background with a black Uchine small weapon.

Nagai Naomasa

1563-1625

He served on the Tokugawa side in the Osaka Summer Campaign of 1615, and was given 90,000 goku of the Furukawa domain in Kamifusa Province. The war banner has red background with kanji one and three circles in white. The three circles were called Shogun stars, an auspicious mark.
