Flag

Located in Fukuoka City Fukuoka Prefecture and established in 1949. The university flag has dark red background with a white emblem. The crane on the university emblem has long been regarded as a bird of great honor in Japan. It is neat and clean, free from pollution, and overflowing with rich elegance. Once the crane spreads its wings, it soars a thousand miles across the sky. This is the ideal image of the flying crane. The initials "FU" (the initials of the university in English) are placed between the wings of the crane, with 大學 at the top.
