Interestingly, the flag and the wallpaper in the background of the linked Facebook photo show the logo and name of the university prior to 2018: Latvia University of Agriculture (Lauksaimniecības Universitāte). This was the name used by the school between 1990 and 2018, according to their entry on Wikipedia entry. The flag also clearly bears that previous name in brown or maroon lettering under the logo, which clearly includes the top of a gold capital "L," which appeared in the "LL" logo under the old name, but has more recently been changed to represent a computer circuit emerging from a cog wheel. So while the photo posted on Facebook was clearly posted to the Facebook page on 22 December 2021, the photo appears to be older than that, with both the flag and the wallpaper bearing the pre-2018 name and logo. I would assume that the flag has changed along with the name and logo, but we still need confirmation of that.

It seems there is a different pattern on the reverse of the flag, judging by this picture and more of it can be seen at this picture and here
