Jos Poels sent me a URL with
a photo with the flag of Rodrigues (or at least, it looks like a flag).
Mark Sensen, 20 April 2004
This flag is white with the coat of arms in the center (I seem to
recall having seen a border around the flag).

The flag of Rodrigues Island (dependency of Mauritius) was created for
the autonomy of the island. The scroll on the coat of arms reads "Travail,
Solidarité, Fierté" (Labour, Solidarity, Pride). According to the
Rodrigues Regional
Assembly website, this motto is a testimony of the pride of the Rodriguan
people to live in an autonomous island and their determination to construct
the country’s destiny in harmony and solidarity for the welfare of
everyone within the Republic of Mauritius.
Pascal Gross, 17 March 2006
On the Coat of Arms are shown Le Solitaire and La Fauvette
birds, products of Rodrigues namely maize, fish and basketry with the sea and
sun in the background crowned by the hibiscus flower.

the
Mauritius Post website
The solitaire (lit., lonesome) was a big bird endemic in the Mascarenas islands. It was exterminated in the XVIIIth century.
A fauvette is a warbler, but there are several species of this bird
all over the world.

The postal authorities of Mauritius have issued in October 2004 a set of
stamps about Rodrigues. One of these stamps features the new coat of arms of
Rodrigues (see 4th stamp on the
first day cover under the title Annual stamps issue).

Stamp also here.

This photo shows a slightly different design: The “ribbon” stripe in the four colors of the national flag is not an orle, but a bordering and there’s lettering under the coat of arms, which is shown smaller. It reads "Rodrigues Regional Assembly" in bold serif capitals.
I have no idea whether this is a variant compared with Pascal’s version,
or if this is what the flag really looks like.
António Martins, 23 February 2016
Rodrigues Island is an integral part of the Mauritian territory.
Since the days of colonization it was administered from Mauritius.
Recognising the specificities of Rodrigues and the need to decentralize
the National Assembly voted unanimously on 20 November 2001 the Acts
which granted autonomy to the island.
