Arms: Granted 14 March 1941: or over all an engrailed saltire sable,
in chief and base a fleur-de-lis gules and dexter and sinister a five-leaved
crown of the same; the shield surmounted with a crown or of 3 leaves and
2 pearls.
Explanation: the arms is made from elements of arms of former important
families. The fleur-de-lis is derived from the Van Amersfoort family, who
owned possessions here.
The saltire is from the arms of the Lockhorst family in Leusden, who
owned the judiciary of Coelhort in the municipality of Hoogland.
The crown is derived from the arms of the family de Coninck, owners
of the lordship of Emiclaer.
