Blazon: I grønt et sølv gjerde. In English: Vert a fence argent.
Approved by the royal resolution of 12 February 1993.
At http://oddso.nvg.org/nlv/0234.html it says that it is not only canting arms (as obvious from the Norwegian blazon), but also represents cultivation of land and woods. http://www.ngw.nl/heraldrywiki/index.php?title=Gjerdrum also states that "... show a traditional Norwegian form of round pole fence."
