Shield Argent, standing on a base Sable semy of fish Argent St. Mary crowned Or, dressed Argent and coated Azure, holding baby Jesus Christ in her left arm and a rose Purpure in her right hand. She is standing between two trees eradicated Vert fruited of the same, each one flanked by a grapevine Purpure leaved Vert at the outer edge. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters"CHARNECA DE CAPARICA".

Charneca de Caparica Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Almada Municipality (q.v.); it had 29 763 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 23.1 km². Charneca, which means heather or swamp, was separateded from Caparica commune on 4 October 1985 and gained the rank of a town (vila) on 2 July 1993.

Shield Argent, a cork oak eradicated Proper fruited Or and peeled Gules flanked by two six-point stars Gules, and in chief two crescents recumbent Gules in base a torteau (=disc Gules). Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SOBREDA - ALMADA".
Meaning:
"Sobreda" is a cognate of "sobro", old Portuguese for "cork", which shows the cork oak in the arms as a canting element.

Sobreda Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Almada Municipality (q.v.); it had 15 166 inhabitants in 2001 and covered 6.2 km².
