It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain white field.

Shield Vert, a belfry Argent masoned Sable with window Gules charged with a bell Or, flanked by two grapevines Purpure leaved Argent, in base a bar wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure.
