Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a rice plant Or flanked by two herons affronty statant Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "BROGUEIRA"
Meaning:
The base wavy is representing Almonda River, rice plant and herons are representing the swamps of Boquilobo, located in the South of the commune and being an important growing area of rice.

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of white and red.

Coat of arms

Shield Gules a paly labarum of St. John the Baptist (white with red Latin throughout cross) between two branches of olive Or fruited sable, in central chief a coronet Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "PARCEIROS DE IGREJA".
Meaning:
The coronet is an attribute of Our Lady of the Snows, the local patron saint. The labarum is referring to the first two waves of colonisation of the area. The olive branches (as a pair) are canting referring to the idea of consorts (Port.: parceiros)

Shield Azure, two grapevines Purpure leaved Or ordered per fess, in central chief an owl statant Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ALCOROCHEL".
Meaning:
The owl (Port.: coruche) is alluding to the commune's name being related and having the same root as Coruche in the Santarem District. The grapevines are symbolizing agriculture, especially viticulture and the famous local vines.

The usual word is "_coruja_"; I’m not sure about the exact meaning and history of the word "_coruche_" (meaningless as a common noun in current modern Portuguese), but the same connection can be seen in the arms of Coruche Municipality.
