In the official website of CIMO a flag of this sporting organization can be seen. It is an approx. 2:3 light blue flag with its logo centred horizontally above large white lettering set in bold serifed capitals reading the city name Almada. The logo is round with a background divided in the 2+3 green/red of the
Portuguese national flag (thus defeating the "iberian" bit of its name?) surrounded by a white rim (much thinner than in the typical seal) where the club's name and sigla is written in black capitals. Within this border a square divided diagonally in white over orange, a common orientation flag pattern, charged with a diagonally cut sun (on the white are only), two stylized fir outlines, a mountaineering pick and an iberian lynx head in black and white over all.
I could not find the reason for the epithet "iberian" in this club's name, nor why the toponym "Almada" on a flag that is being used as the club's flag. It would seem that this club aims to have filials in both Portugal and Spain (and Gibraltar and Andorra, both with good grounds for mountaineering!) with its Almada branch being the first/main one, perhaps?

I'd bet the answer is quite simple: CIMO is not only a sigla; it's also a word in Portuguese, meaning "top", quite fitting for a mountaneering club. I'd bet the "iberian" bit is just a way to compose a nice acronym
for them.
