Based on a personal
web site at http://www.users.quest.net/~rae.4332/flags.html (no longer
available), developed by an inhabitant of Palau, which shows the flags of all
the 16 states of Palau. The flag is
light blue, with a yellow triangle bearing a brown tool and two stems of a green
vine. According the census Kayangel has an area of 3 sq. km, a population of 124 inhabitants, and the capital is
Kayangel.

According to
http://pacificdigitallibrary.org, the flag of Kayangel is light blue with a
yellow triangle in the middle, charged with a brown oar surrounded by two green
hibiscus vines. Blue and yellow are the same colors as used on the flag of
Palau, reflecting that Kayangel is part of Palau. The triangle symbolizes the
mountain of protection provided by the two properties of the State:
- the
hibiscus is used to calm razing winds;
- the oar is used to
tame the seas.

the flag shown at the Pacific Digital Library is simplified.
