Official Stockholm Pride Flag since c. 1999

image by Tomislav Todorovic, 10 June 2015

The official flag of Stockholm Pride is white with the logo. The logo consists of a wavy bar, composed of six distinctive segments, each in one of rainbow colors, placed beneath the inscription "STOCKHOLM PRIDE" in black, with a black vertical line between two words and word "PRIDE" in bold oblique variant of the font. According to the Stockholm Pride website the logo was created for the EuroPride 1998 by Andreas "Andy" Gunnarsson. Its final form, differing only in the text, was created for the Stockholm Pride 1999. The design refers to Stockholm as a city on the water, as well as to the rainbow flag.
The instructions for the use of logo are presented at the Stockholm Pride website in image format: A flag photo from Stockholm Pride 2006, is available (here), a photo from Stockholm Pride 2010 can be found (here), and one from Stockholm Pride 2014 is available (here).
An image (EPS format) of the Stockholm Pride logo, is available for free download from the Stockholm Pride website (here).

Stockholm Pride Flag since c. 2004

images by Tomislav Todorovic, 06 June 2015

Last week there was the Stockholm Pride Festival in Stockholm, Sweden, a festival mainly for people who are homo-, bi- or transsexual (or for anyone who want to party with them). A flag used during this occasion was like the Rainbow flag with red on top, but with a white vertical stripe along the fly with the text "STOCKHOLM PRIDE" in sans serif letters of which the word "PRIDE" was in bold letters. I suppose the flag will be seen again, because this festival has become an annual event in Stockholm.
Elias Granqvist, 02 August 2004

The flag was also used at the Stockholm Pride 2007, as can be seen (here). It was used again at the Stockholm Pride 2010, as shown (here), (here) and (here), as well as the Stockholm Pride 2012, as shown (here). All these photos reveal that the inscription is purple.
A variant of the flag has the reversed order of colors (purple at the top, red at the bottom) and the inscription in black. It is incompletely visible in a photo at a webpage which has been created as an announcement of the Stockholm Pride/Europride 2008. Even though the colors are obviously too dark for the real life (certainly due to the photographing conditions), all rainbow colors are recognizable, and the inscription is visibly darker of them all, so it can hardly be any color other than black. Regarding the frequency of its appearing in the photos, compared with the other variant, this flag seems to be much less used.

Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights (Speculative)
Riksförbundet för homosexuellas, bisexuellas och transpersoners rättigheter

speculative image by Pete Loeser, 08 June 2015

[Please note: This RFSL flag speculation might be simply a vertically hung Pride flag - PL]

The vertically striped Rainbow flag is only shown as a logo at the "The Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights" (RiksfÖrbundet för homosexuellas, bisexuellas och transpersoners rättigheter - RFSL) website. The RFSL, which was founded in 1950 and is one of the world’s oldest LGBT organizations, currently has approximately 4,000 members. It is non-partisan and not affiliated with any religious organization. This vertical logo flag doesn't appear to be an actual flag, and is most likely simply used as their logo.

The actual flag of the RFSL is a six-striped rainbow flag with a white vertical bar at the fly, separated from the rainbow stripes by a wavy edge and charged with the logo of RFSL. The logo, shown with a 9-o'clock orientation on the flag, consists of oblique initials RFSL in black, placed next to a parallelogram in rainbow colors with the bottom edge in same wavy form as the partition line on the flag. Such flags are offered for sale at the RFSL Web Shop, and at the Paper Flag website. A photo of the flag from Stockholm Pride 2009 on this flicker website.

Swedish Federation for People of Sexual Minorities - Östersund Branch
Riksförbundet för Sexuellt Likaberättigande

The flag of the local branch of Riksförbundet för Sexuellt Likaberättigande (RFSL) (a Swedish organisation for people of sexual minorities) seems to have a flag inspired by the flag of the "Republic of Jamtland" Östersund is the biggest town in Jamtland) and the gay flag can be seen at the blog of the organisation's chariman.
Elias Granqvist, 17 May 2006

The local RFSL flag mentioned by Elias cannot be confirmed. However, this photo from the Stockholm Pride Parade 2007 proves that RSFL members from Östersund do use an undifferenced flag of the "Republic of Jamtland".
