Mogadishu University is an accredited non-state university located on the outskirts of Mogadishu, capital of Somalia. It opened in September 1997 as a non-governmental, non-profit institution for higher learning, governed by a Board of Trustees and a University Council.
The flag of the university has a yellow field, in the centre of which is the
emblem of university.
