equal horizontal stips - red and green. In the top strip is white
paty cross in 1/4 of flag length."

"It was confirmed at January, 23d, 2003 by regional council
session. Shield per pale by gules and argent. In the first fiels
is argent paty cross above vert wave base (meadows), in the
second field is azure flame. The emblem enframed by or cartouche
with ears in the bottom of it. The author is I.Hamezhuk.
The colours symbolize regional center (Lokachi village) emblem.
The cross mean Volyn', meadows mean fertility, azure flame means
gas deposits."
