Description

Verizon Communications Inc. is an enormous broadband and telecommunications company formed from the double merger of Bell Atlantic (who previously merged with Nynex, another regional Bell Company formed from the brake up of AT&T) with GTE, an independent incumbent local phone and cellular company, and Vodofone's US cellular phone operations (AirTouch Cellular, PrimeCo Personal Communications and AirTouch Paging). Its flag is black with its logo, the word "verizon" in white with the "z" in red and with its lower horizontal stretching beneath the text until fading away. There is also a V-shaped "broken" red line above, also fading.
