Description of the flag

The flag is a green field with the borough seal in the center. Under the seal is the incorporation year.

The seal is made of a white ring with golden outline and the borough name in blue. In the center is a simplified scene of a sun rising over mountains with a pine free ridge in the foreground. At the bottom is the motto "pro bono publico" which means "For the public good". Under the motto is the incorporation year.
