The ratio is 3:5. On a white field are the municipal arms in flag colours in the centre of the flag.

Alt Duvenstedt Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms: Vert (i.e.green) a Barrulet wavy abased Argent (i.e. white), between a Millwheel Or (i.e. yellow) and three demi-Bulrushes of the same colour.

The bulrushes symbolize the Duvenstedter Moor and nature worth protecting, the millwheel the water mill the village had at one point, and the agricultural structure. The barrulet symbolizes the mill brook (Mühlenbach), and connects nature and village.

Municipality of Fockbek

Fockbek Municipal Flag

Description of flag:
The ratio is 3:5. It is a 7-stripes flag divided by alternating blue and white stripes. The white stripes are slightly broader. In the centre of the flag is the local coat of arms with a broad white fimbriation.

Fockbek Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The red shield is divided by a silver (= white) bend wavy. The bend is superimposed by a blue herring followed by a blue eel.
Meaning:
The colours are those of Schleswig-Holstein. The fish are alluding to an old legend: The inhabitants had drowned(!) an eel in a local lake as a punishment, as the eel was accused of having eaten all the herrings, which had been located there for breeding purposes.

Nübbel Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The green shield is divided by a very broad silver (= white) fess wavy, filling nearly half the shield. The fess is superimposed by a black sailing ship with two masts.
Meaning:
Nübbel is one of the oldest villages on the southern river bend of the Eider. Loctaed on the Eider Canal, seven dockyards settled down here. Shipbuilding bloomed between 1840 and 1880 and declined after the completion of the Kiel Canal and the beginning of the era of iron ships. The sailing ship is reminding on the glorious times in the 19th century.

The ratio is 3:5. It is nearly an armorial flag. The figures are slightly shifted to the hoist.

Rickert Municipal Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In the golden (= yellow) shield is a green, rooted double oak tree. On the green chief is a wheel with eight spokes on the dexter side and a harrow on the sinister side. Both figures are golden (= yellow).
Meaning:
The colours are symbolizing the landscape consisting of meadows, fields, swamps and groves. The wheel is symbolizing the agility of the inhabitants. The harrow is symbolizing agriculture. The oak is a symbol of the undissolvable union of Schleswig and Holstein, the community of the inhabitants. On the other hand the tree is alluding to the vast woods of the municipality.
