The submunicipal entity of Naharros (6 inhabitants in 2015) is located 10 km south-east of La Miñosa.
The flag of Naharros is prescribed by an Order issued on 27 August 2009
by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 7 October 2009
in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 196, p. 41,713 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3. Blue with a red border, in width 1/5 of the flag's width. On the blue field, a yellow castle with blue port and windows, in height 3/5 of the flag's width, on the red burder a yellow chain.
The coat of arms of Naharros is prescribed by an Order issued on 27
August 2009 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 7
October 2009 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 196, p.
41,714 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Azure a castle or. A bordure gules charged with a chain or. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.
The Royal Academy of History pointed out, "once more, the
"unsubstantiated use of the old Spanish kingdoms", here Castile, in
municipal coats of arms designed from scratch. Were a castle deemed
necessary, it should be portrayed in other, distinctive colors. The
choice of the chain to recall the origin of the place's earlier settlers
and namesake, Navarra, is relavant, but its arrangement as a bend in the sinister part of the shield is unknown to heraldic tradition. Placing
the chain on a bordure would not require the addition of another quarter
and increase the composition's simplicity and balance. The amended
proposal should have the color of the orb in the crown corrected and the
crown described as "a Spanish Royal crown" in stead of the generic
"Royal crown closed", used in several other European monarchies.
