The flag and arms of Velascálvaro (images) are prescribed by an Agreement issued on 16 November 2020 by the Municipal Council, signed on 14 January 2021 by the Mayor and published on 25 January 2021 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 16, p. 2,874. (text).
The symbols, which were designed by Félix Martínez Llorente, are described as follows:
Flag: In proportions 2:3, vertically divided 1:2. On the panel at host, a green (vert) lozenge with a garb of yellow (or) spikes in the center tied by a white (argent) ribbon outlined in black (sable) surmounted by a yellow (or) Royal Castilian coronet with four florets, three of them visible. In the four red (gules) angles, a bunch of yellow (or) grapes with stem and leaves of the same. On the third at hoist, on a white (argent) field, the old coat of arms of the town of Medina del Campo (blue, or azure, 13 white, or argent, bezants) parallel to the hoist, surrounded in the upper part by a black (sable) "V" and in the lower part by a black (sable) "A" in Gothic font, both parallel to the hoist.
Coat of arms: Spanish shield. Vert a garb of wheat or (yellow) tied by a ribbon argent (white) fimbriated sable (black) surmounted by a Royal Castilian crown open with four florets, three of them visible, or (yellow) surrounded on left and right by two bowls argent (white) surmounted by a bunch of grapes or (yellow) slipped and leaved of the same. A chief argent charged in the center with a pointed shield with the arms of the town of Medina del Campo (azure, or blue 13 bezants argent, or white) surrounded dexter by a letter "V" and sinister by a letter "A", in Gothic font, the two sable (black). The shield surmounted by a Royal Spanish crown.
