The Club Reus Sportiu has recently been proclaimed champion of the CERS cup in hockey, the local main sport. Club Reus Sportiu was until now 7-time European champion, and one-time world champion, between other many titles in Catalonia and Spain. Until Real Madrid won its 7th (and later 8th) European Cup, there was no other club with 7 European Cups in its hands. As usual, but multiplied by 5, the club flag flies in all the corners of the city.
