The Departmental Council uses a white flag with its new logo (photo, photo), adopted in January 2019.

"In September 2018, the desire to change the visual identity of the Department took shape. Through this new logo, the Departmental Council wants to modernize its image and federate all the inhabitants. This is why the aim was to remove the division between the notions of rural / urban in order to create a sign that everyone can appropriate."
The result is "a yellow pellet with an original logo in the center that draws an 'E' and an 'L'. A sober sign with a strong visual character, in adequacy with its time."

The flag of the Departmental Council of Eure-et-Loire, hoisted in front of the Castel Maintenon hotel, is a modification of the flag of the former General Council, following the 2015 reform.
The writing was changed from "Conseil général" to "Conseil départemental", the font was modified, the design of the central ampersand/wheat ears was changed, and the shade of green was modified.

The General Council of Eure-et-Loir flies, along the French national flag, a green flag with the logo of the General Council covering almost the full width of the flag.

The logo, adopted in 1999, is made of the full name of the departement, with "et" (and) symbolized by an ampersand (&) made of wheat ears. A part of the Beauce region, used to be called "the wheat loft of France" (le grenier à blé de la France is located in Eure-et-Loir.
The department of Eure-et-Loir is the second biggest producer of grain in France, ranking 2nd for durum wheat (36,000 ha; mean yield, 6.9 t/ ha) and 5th for bread wheat (170,000 ha in 2011; mean yield, 7.4 t/ha). On the logo, the ampersand looks more or less like the wheat flag leaf (the biggest leaf, located just beneath the spike and critically contributing to grain yield via the translocation of photosynthetic assimilates).

The General Council used before 1999 a logo made of the two blue letters "EL" with two red wavy lines and a little white "28" in the "E". The letters and the lines are the symbols of the rivers that gave their names to the departement.
