The town emblem was adopted on Nov 8th 1970 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in an orange color disc in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ナ Na of Nagiso. The letter represents an uplifting feeling and a fullness. The blue color stands for pure natural circumstances and the orange color for a warm human relationship.
